Obituary of Jack Copare

Jack Copare, 80, of Cedarville passed away on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at his home. Born in Bridgeton the late Mary Copare, he was the husband of the late Judy Ann Wentworth-Copare. Jack was a resident of Cedarville since he was 12 years old. Prior to his retirement, Jack had worked in the glass industry for over 40 years. He had been employed by Armstrong Cork, Kerr Glass Co. and Foster Forbes. Following his retirement, he had worked in the Maintenance Department at the Delaware River Bay Authority for 15 years and then retired for the second time. In his younger years, Jack enjoyed fishing, hunting and ice skating. He was an animal lover and was particularly fond of his dog, Abby and his baby steer, “T-Bone”that he received for his 50th birthday. He also enjoyed woodworking and was very proud of his barn. Jack had been an active member of the Cedarville Fire Co. for over 60 years. Most of all, Jack enjoyed spending time with his family especially camping. He is survived by; his children, Judy Andrews (Jack) of Cedarville and Melissa Williams of Millville; his sister, Laura “Penny” Shaw (Wayne) of Corbin City; four grandchildren, Dale (Monique), Jennifer, Daniel (Brandy) and Megan; his niece, Laurie; his nephew, Christopher; two great-nieces, Amanda and Rachel; his great-nephew, Brandon and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by; his mother and father, Mary Copare-Loper and Earl Loper and his wife, Judy Ann Copare. Funeral Services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Tuesday, June 22 at 11 AM Friends will be received at the funeral home from 9 AM to 11 AM prior to the services. Interment will be held privately at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Cedarville. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jack's memory to the Cedarville Fire Co.
