Obituary of Lonnie A. Drayton

He was the son of Arthur Drayton, Sr. of Vincentown and the late Thelma Becker Drayton and the husband of Nancy DiAgostino Drayton. He had lived in both the Vincentown and Bridgeton areas. Lonnie had been employed as an over the road truck driver for Oakley Trans. Co. in Lake Wales, FL for 36 years. He had also worked for Lee Transport in Elmer, Eisco Environmental in Swedesboro and New World Van Lines in Cranbury. A 1975 graduate of Shawnee High School in Medford he was also a General Motors mechanic and had worked for Halliburton Corp. in Mt. Laurel. In addition to his father and wife, he is survived by a son, Lonnie A. Drayton, Jr., a daughter, Nancie R. Drayton and a grandson, Jose L. Drayton all of Bridgeton; two brothers, Arthur E., Jr., and Dale L. Drayton both of Vincentown and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway # 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Friday, Nov. 30th at 7:30 PM.
