Obituary of Donald W. Hughes, Jr

Donald W. Hughes, Jr., 66, of Bridgeton passed away on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland. Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Donald W. Hughes, Sr. and Margaret Stephens Hughes, he was the husband of Darlene Fort Hughes. Don had been a resident of Bridgeton since 2015 and prior to that had lived in Philadelphia, PA. Don had been most recently employed by Stericycle in South Hampton, PA since 2006 and had relocated to the Bridgeton area for Stericycle. He had been previously employed with his brother in law at his service station, Dick and Rips in Warminster, PA. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy serving during peacetime. In his free time, Don loved fishing. He is survived by; his wife, Darlene Hughes of Bridgeton; his son, Donald W. Hughes of GA; his granddaughter, Ella and his step-son, Daniel J. Fort of Bridgeton. He was preceded in death by; his brother, Danny Hughes. Memorial Services will be held at VFW Post 9765 R. Keith Anderson Memorial Post,4269 Linden Ave, Feasterville-Trevose, PA 19053 on Saturday, August 21st at 2 PM.
