Obituary of Bertha Spencer

Born in Bridgeton to the late Oakford Green and Hannah Buck Green she was the wife of the late L.T. Spencer. She had been a Bridgeton resident for most of her life. Prior to her retirement she was employed as a home health with Cumberland County Homemakers and also in the Dietary Dept. at the former Bridgeton Hospital. She was a member of St. Matthews Baptist Church in Williamstown. She is survived by a daughter, Ruth Watkins of Bridgeton. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Oakford Green, Jr., Leroy Green and William Green and a sister, Ruth Green. Funeral Services will be held at St. Matthews Baptist Church, 245 Glassboro Rd., Williamstown, on Monday, December 10th at 10 AM. Interment will take place at Gouldtown Memorial Park. A visitation will be held at the church from 9 to 10 AM prior to the services. Arrangements are under the direction of the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, Upper Deerfield Twp.
