Obituary of Rose E. Greene

Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Wilbert Covey and Louise Jones Covey on August 5, 1928, she was the wife of the late Andrew Greene. She had lived in Bridgeton for the last 30 years and prior to that she had resided in Washington State. Before her retirement she had worked in customer service at the Claridge Casino Hotel in Atlantic City. She was a member of John Wesley United Methodist Church in Bridgeton. She leaves to cherish her memory; four grandchildren, Kevin Coles of Breemo Bluff, VA, Jovan Jones of Bridgeton, Alfred Jones, Jr. of Bridgeton and Marneek Jones of Millville; a sister, Shirley Boone of Bridgeton; a brother, Jefferson Covey of Bridgeton and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Alfred Jones, Sr. and two sisters, Lillian Harrs and June Hughes. Funeral Services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Monday, December 10th at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Memorial Park in Hopewell Township. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 to 11 AM prior to the services.
