Obituary of Rebecca J. Pierce

Rebecca Jane Pierce, 75, of Upper Pittsgrove Township passed away on Sunday, November 21, 2021. Born in Bridgeton, Becky was the daughter of the late George and Anne E. Shimp Flanagan. Known for her caring heart, love of her family and animals of all kinds, Becky especially adored her grandchildren. Becky enjoyed caring for her home alongside her husband, Bob, working in her yard and feeding the birds. She was a true home body and was “happy on Garrison Road”. She will be sadly missed and is survived by her husband, Robert L. Pierce, son, Mark R. Pierce (Suzanne), and grandchildren, Amanda L. Pierce and her companion, Patrick O’Neill, and Dylan G. Pierce (Holli), her sister, Judy Sprouse, several nieces and a nephew, her sister in-law, Miriam A. Pierce, and her brother in-law, Franklin Pierce (Sally). She was predeceased by her parents, her brother, Ronald Shimp, and her brother in-law, Barry K. Pierce. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
