Obituary of Arnold R. Mead

Born in Bridgeton on July 29, 1952 he was son of the late Ross Mead and Anna Ayers Mead. He had lived in Vineland since 1973 and prior to that he had resided in Pittsgrove. Before his retirement nine years ago, he had worked for the E.I. DuPont Corp. at the Deepwater Plant for 30 years. He was an avid golfer and horseshoe player and was also a fan of the Phillies, Eagles and NASCAR. Surviving are two daughters, Michelle Silvidio of Pittsgrove and Melissa Mead of Vineland; a son, Arnold R. Mead, Jr. of Vineland; a sister, Lisa Hollenweger of Pittsgrove and seven grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp., on Wednesday, December 12th at 1 PM. Interment will take place at Fernwood Memorial Park in Hopewell Twp. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 12 Noon to 1 PM prior to the services. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in Arnold's memory to the American Cancer Society, 1851 Old Cuthbert Rd., Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.
