Robert M. Linn, 90, of Vineland passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2022 at the Cumberland Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Bridgeton to the late Merrill Linn and Jennie Emery Linn, he was a resident of Bridgeton for most of his life. Prior to his retirement, he was a long time employee of Wheaton Glass in Millville. Robert went directly into the Air Force during his senior year of high school where upon exiting he met his wife Joanne, who he referred to as “Babe”. Together they opened up Bob’s Corner Store in Bridgeton and operated the store until he started his career with Wheaton’s in 1962. Robert was an avid Phillies fan, paying very close attention to the statistics of baseball. He also enjoyed collecting diecast toy soldiers. He is survived by, his children, Robert D. Linn (Robin) of Buena, Richard Linn of Quinton, Thomas Linn (Carol) of Millville, Patricia Hofstetter (Don) of Vineland, Sharon Gentile of Bridgeton, Joanne Stratton (Bill) of Greenwich, Donna Crackovich (Steve) of Greenwich, Terri Leek (Bill) of Centerton and Michelle Lee of PA, along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was predeceased in death by his wife Joanne Molnar Linn; his children, Robert M. Linn, Jr. and Sandra Linn, and his grand-children Christopher Kwon and Mark Linn.
