Obituary of Sally Ann Simpkins

Sally Ann Simpkins, 73, of Upper Deerfield Twp. passed away on Friday, March 25, 2022 at her home. Born in Elmer to the late Raymond Simpkins and Margaret Lang Simpkins, she was the wife of the late William Mills III. Sally Ann had been a Cumberland County resident all of her life. Prior to her illness, Sally Ann had worked for many years in the Cumberland County Clerk's Office in Bridgeton and later as a secretary for Sungenis Insurance in Hopewell Twp. In her free time, she enjoyed traveling to West Virginia, reading her bible, bird watching and listening to Kenny Rodgers and the early works of Elton John. Sally Ann was also a cat lover. She is survived by; her son, Earl Paul Hogate (Donna) of Upper Deerfield Twp.; her daughter, Lisa Margaret Hogate of TN; her sister, Mary Simpkins of Stow Creek; her ex-husband, Earl Thomas Hogate; her three grandchildren; Emma Leigh, Arabella and Brittney Ann and her caregiver for the past five years and family friend, Sonya Rogers Benjamin. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by; her granddaughter, Destiny Ann Hogate; her grandson, Earl Paul Hogate, Jr.; and her husbands, John Schnee and William Mills III.
