Obituary of Evan F. D'Anjou

Evan Frederick D’Anjou of Pittsgrove, N.J., age 15, died Wednesday, May 4, 2022. He was a sophomore at Schalick High School. He was an avid motocross enthusiast whose love of riding began at age 4. Field of Dreams Motocross Track was his home away from home. Evan leaves behind his mother and father Jennifer (nee Daum) and Raymond D’Anjou, and sister Hailee Rae of Pittsgrove, New Jersey. Evan was loved by his grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins and many friends. Evan always surrounded himself with family and friends. He was his father’s best buddy. He was a true mama’s boy, and proud of it. He was the biggest little brother and a true treasure to his Mimi, with whom he shared a home and a love of ice cream and the TV show Cops. Even at the age of 15, Evan saw the value of people and remembering the little things adults often forget. He was a gentleman who actively engaged and cared for both family and strangers alike. He was full of energy. His smile and presence filled the room. People gravitated toward Evan and connected with his passion for life and his mischievous sense of humor. A visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 11th at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township. A small service will be held at 7:00 p.m. All are encouraged to share a brief memory of Evan.
