Obituary of Larry W. Dooley, Sr.

Larry W. Dooley   Of Bridgeton, New Jersey, passed peacefully at the age of 69 on March 10, 2022.    Born in Bridgeton, New Jersey, on July 23, 1952, son of the late Jeffie and Elsie Dooley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings: Freddie Dooley, Margaret Jane Coburn, Eunice Hoskins, Ida Dooley Watts, Marvin Dooley, Sr. and Lonnie Dooley.   He served in the United States Army and was a graduate of Salem High School, class of 1970.    Mr. Dooley was most recently a school bus driver for Lehane’s Bus Services, but worked for Finnegan Construction as a Carpenter for many years. He was a San Francisco 49ers fan and enjoyed listening to music, especially ZZ Top. In his leisure time, he enjoyed visiting the casino.    He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Lane and husband Brian Lane Sr., of Harrington, Delaware. Three grandchildren, Brittany, Jenna and Brian Lane Jr., and three great grandsons, Kasen, Colton and Knox Outten. Jennifer’s mother, Dorothy; many nieces and nephews.    A Memorial Service will be held on June 4, 2022 at 2:00pm at the Canvas Church, 1501 Edgemore Avenue, Salisbury, Maryland 21801.
