Obituary of Wilma L. Parsons

Wilma L. Parsons, 71, of Commercial Twp. passed away on Monday, June 20, 2022 at her home. Born in Iaeger, West Virginia to the late Fred West and Zetta Marie Lester, she was the wife of Leon Parsons, Sr. Wilma had moved to Cumberland County at a young age and had been a long time Commercial Twp. resident. After raising her family as a dedicated homemaker, Wilma would go on to become a bus driver for Sheppard Bus Co. and retired after 15 years of service. In her free time, she loved to collect porcelain dolls and crocheting. Most of all she loved to spend time with her family, especially hosting and attending family Christmas parties. She is survived by; her husband, Leon Parsons, Sr. of Commercial Twp.; her two sons, Leon Parsons, Jr. of Pittsgrove Twp. and Jeffery Parsons, Sr. (Donna) of Franklinville; her siblings, Fred West of Cedarville, Beverly of MD; Inez Hayes of New York and Timmy West of Vineland; her grandchildren, Lauren, Sydney, Casey, Jeffery, Jr. and Sophie and two great grandchildren, Steward and Elijah.
