Obituary of Adella I. Barrow

Adella I. Barrow, 85 of Port Norris passed away at her home on Tuesday, June 28, 2022. The wife of the late James Edward Barrow, Sr., she was born in Somerset County, Maryland and was the daughter of the late Robert J. Teagle, Sr. and Virgie Whittington Teagle. She had been a Port Norris resident most of her life. Prior to her retirement, she had been employed with the Vineland Developmental Center for 30 years. She had also worked at group homes in Vineland. Adella was a member of the Supreme Council of the House of Jacob in Bridgeton. She enjoyed reading the newspaper, watching the T.V. and especially her coffee and ice cream. She is survived by her three children, Eugene Barrow of Millville, Jacqueline Barrow of Port Norris and William Barrow of Millville and a half sister, Lele Lawson of MD. She was predeceased by two sons, James Edward Barrow, Jr. and Victor Barrow and nine brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held at the Shiloh Baptist Church, 2411 Memorial Avenue, Port Norris on Friday, July 8th at 11:00AM Friends will be received at the church from 9:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the services.
