Obituary of Wilson I. Durham, Jr.

Wilson I. Durham, Jr., 64, of Bridgeton passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland. Born in Bridgeton to the late Wilson I. Durham, Sr. and Pauline Sanderlin Durham, he was a lifetime resident of Bridgeton. Prior to his retirement, Wilson had worked as a prep cook for Big John's Pizza in Bridgeton for many years. He had been formerly employed with F&S Produce in Rosenhayn. Wilson was a member of Crusaders for Christ Church in Bridgeton. In his free time, Wilson enjoyed fishing, coloring and listening to Christian and Oldies music. He also loved to spend time with his many friends. He is survived by; three sisters, Bernetta Pierce of Bridgeton, Buela Smith of NJ and Gwendolyn Morris of DE and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other family members and friends. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by; his brothers, Kevin Durham, Larry Ridgeway, Scholer Ridgeway, Urie Ridgeway and Charles “Butch” Ridgeway and two sisters, Arlene Durham and Delores P. Durham. Funeral services will be held at Crusaders for Christ Church, 33 Reeves Rd., Bridgeton on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Memorial Park in Hopewell Twp. Friends will be received at the church from 10 AM to 11 AM prior to the services.
