Mrs. Dacy was a kind, caring and loving teacher to all of us who had the pleasure and privilege of having her as our Kindergarten Teacher. Mrs. Dacy was not only beautiful on the outside, but she was just as beautiful on the inside.
In the wintertime I wore a green coat that Mrs. Dacy had to button the top button to fasten the coat at the top of my neck, every time I put the coat on to play outside or to get on the bus to go home. Mrs. Dacy's perfume from her hands was always what I smelled when I was wearing that coat it was the most aromatic lovely scent. Mrs. Dacy was always so impeccably dressed and refined I had such a crush on her, and I loved her so much!!
My regret is that I did not go see Mrs. Dacy in my later years and tell her personally how much I loved her, and I still do. Mrs. Dacy made learning, playing with others and her reading books to us fun every day. Mrs. Dacy made a lasting and wonderful impression on me during my first year of school that has lasted me my entire life.

What a wonderful teacher Mrs. Dacy was in Greenwich. I entered her class in September of 1963. Mrs. Dacy was very kind and soft spoken to all of the kids. I will never forget the day in late November when the principal called Mrs. Dacy on the phone. Mrs. Dacy became very upset. When she hung up the phone, she announced to us that school had been canceled for the rest of the day and that we were all going home. She explained to us that President Kennedy had been shot. We all went home. I still have my report card and our class photo from Mrs. Dacy's kindergarten class. She was the nicest teacher in the entire Greenwich Elementary School and she will live in our hearts forever.

Mrs. Dacy was a wonderful, kind, loving woman. I worked with John Jr as a young adult and as an adult. Mr and Mrs Dacy were devoted to John Jr. She will be remembered for her kindness and devotion to her students and her family. Ironically one day talking with Mrs. Dacy we realized my mother and she went to high school together and graduated with the great Class of 1944 !

Miss Nardelli/ Mrs. Dacy was a beloved institution at Greenwich. She is remembered fondly and loved by every student who had the privilege to be her student. We all have wonderful memories of our year with the beautiful, kind and soft spoken Mrs. Dacy at "The Little School" She started me on my own path to becoming a Kindergarten Teacher.
