Obituary of Carol K. Bennett

Carol K. Bennett, 84, of Upper Deerfield Twp. passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at her home under the care of hospice and her family. Born in Bridgeton to the late Frank Kobrich and Mary Messick Kobrich, she was the wife of Lee Bennett for 46 years. Carol was a graduate of Bridgeton High School and attended cosmetology school in Philadelphia, PA. She had worked for over 60 years as a hair stylist. She was also a talented arts and crafts painter. In addition to her wood crafts, she had painted over 900 mailboxes. Carol also loved to golf and had even hit a hole in one on the 17th green at Centerton Country Club. She also enjoyed flower gardens, traveling and camping. She will be missed for the 15 to 20 varieties of holiday cookies she made and shared with her family, friends and customers. She is survived by; her husband of 46 years, Lee Bennett of Upper Deerfield Twp.; her brother, Frank Kobrich of Bridgeton; her sister, Sharon Galeotti of Henderson, NV; her son, Erich Flake (Jennifer) of Bridgeton; her step children, Deb Deissler (Robert) of Galloway; John Bennett (Rhonda) of Vineland and Stephen Bennett of Egg Harbor Twp. and her niece, Suzette Dobbs (Chris) and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Steven Flake. Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
