Obituary of Yvonne Elizabeth Wisher

Our beloved Yvonne Elizabeth Wisher had gone with the lord peacefully on February 16", 2023. Yvonne was born February 24th, 1936, in Aiken, South Carolina. She briefly lived in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania before residing in Alloway Township with her parents. She attended Alloway township elementary school before later attending and graduating from Woodstown High School. She later worked at Val Mode Lingerie Co. in Bridgeton, NJ. Yvonne was a God-fearing woman who attended church often throughout her life. She had an infectious smile that could light up the room, her spirit and presence was always felt when she entered the room. She was preceded in death by; her parents, Gladys, and Nelson Thompson; her four sisters; Eloise, June, Lottie, and Bessie; five brothers, Edward, Leslie, Leroy, Albert, and Curtis; his son, Charles J. Wisher Jr.; two grandchildren, Brandon Wisher, and Leonard King Jr; and widowed twice to Charles J. Wisher and Wilfred H. Colson. She leaves behind; her children, Richard Wisher (Shawn Wisher) of Penns Grove, NJ, Yvonne Crooks of Glassboro, NJ, Gladys Cole of Flemington, NJ, Josephine Wisher of Bridgeton, NJ, Joana Wisher (Michael B.) of Clayton NJ, Tracy Rolax (Billy Rolax) of Hershey, PA., and Tanya Redding of Salem, NJ.; 21 grandchildren, Richard W, Tarsheba W., Rashawana D., Robert D., Jerry M., Tanisha W., Rashawn G., Walter D., Terrance D., Aaron D., Curtis V., Hershawn M., Victia W., Victor W., Mykel B, Myona B., Shameaka K, Amber S, Lashawn T, Quamere R., Norman R., and Natisha R.; 40 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild, Ayr'ean Elizabeth Taylor; and a Host of Nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Monday, February 27th at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Memorial Park, in Hopewell Twp. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 AM to 11 AM prior to the services.
