Obituary of Karl H. Pleger

Mr. Pleger was born in Scranton, PA and moved to Ft. Pierce FL in 1998 from Bear, DE. He had worked for DuPont Chambers Works in Deepwater prior to his retirement and was a member of the Twentieth Avenue Church of God in Vero Beach, FL. He was a man of God and a prayer warrior. He loved reading his bible and witnessing to anyone who would listen. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Bonnie Pleger; a son, Eric Pleger and his wife Misa of Beavercreek, OH; two daughters, Sherry Emmons and her husband Chuck of Pennsville and Donna Jean Stell and her husband Eddie of Millville; two sisters, Betty Lynn of Scranton, PA and Sulamith Pleger of Germany; a brother, Markus Pleger and his wife Spomenka of Germany, nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Irma O'Neil. Funeral Services were held at the Twentieth Avenue Church of God in Vero Beach on January 23rd. A memorial service will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp., on Saturday, February 2nd at 12 Noon. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 11 AM to 12 Noon prior to the services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mr. Pleger's memory may be made to Twentieth Avenue Church of God, 775 20th Avenue, Vero Beach, FL 32962.
