Obituary of Janet C. French

Janet C. French, 87, of Upper Deerfield Twp. passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at the Cumberland Manor in Hopewell Twp. Born in Bridgeton to the late Arthur L. Counsellor and Phoebe Chambers Counsellor, she had been the wife of the late James B. French. Janet had been a Cumberland County resident all her life. In her free time, she enjoyed birdwatching, her English Garden, spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and in her younger years, traveling. She is survived by; her son, James B. Stoffels and his wife, Pat; her grandchildren, Alexandra Stoffels, Annelise Stoffels, Jeremy Lubin, and Amy Lubin; and her great granddaughter, Alexa. She was predeceased by; her husband, James B. French; her parents, Arthur and Phoebe Counsellor; her daughter, Barbara Lubin; two brothers and one sister. Inurnment will take place privately, where she and her husband, James B.
