Obituary of Henry C. Young

Henry Carl Young, 69, of Franklinville, passed away on Monday, July 3, 2023 at Eagleview Health and Rehab in Pittsgrove Twp. Henry was born to the late Harry Young and Hazel Giffins Young in Camden. He lived with his mother in Clayton for about 50 years prior to moving to Franklinville, where he resided for almost 20 years. Henry worked for the Gloucester County Road Department, Moodies Industry, and retired from Pioneer Metal in Franklinville, NJ. He enjoyed listening to country music and Elvis Presley, watching the Phillies, Philadelphia Eagles, and Nascar. Most of all Henry enjoyed being around his family. Henry is survived by his four siblings, Edith Dawson (James) of Franklinville, Donald Young of Franklinville, Wilma Legates of Pittsgrove Twp., and Sharon Barnak (Joe) of Clayton; and 10 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Hazel Young; and two nephews. Funeral services were held privately at the convenience of the family.
