To Denise, Ka’Tina, Bill and the entire family: My husband and I extend our most heartfelt condolences at your mom’s transition. Carol was a jewel, a truly Spirit-filled woman of God. She had such a beautiful heart and kind spirit. I have so many precious memories of my time with her at Bethany SDA church. When she would give the altar prayer….Lord have mercy! You could feel it in your soul. Our prayers are with you today and the coming days. We love you all.

Denise and Tina, your Mother had such a sweet spirit about her, the kind of spirit that represented the God she served. Wherever we would be in our yard Ms. Carol would always wave it yell across the yard to say "how ya doing." She was truly a good Mother and Grandmother.

Our Dear Family
Words can not express our sincere condolences in the passing of our Cousin Carol. We are deeply saddened; but in the deepest part of my heart, I know that God makes no mistake. All my life we looked alike and that was a fact I was so proud. I was even prouder of her civic work, admired her pleasant attitude, and her charming disposition. She was so loved and will be genuinely missed.

In this time of mourning, may solace be found in the recollection of Caroline's life. Her love and kindness were manifestations of her faithfulness; always willing to help those in need, she served as a comforter reflecting Our Lord and Savior's grace. Though we cannot be present for her final farewell, our prayers are with her beloved family. May Caroline's legacy live on through her cherished daughters, embodying the divine love Jesus teaches us about. Indeed, God is good to us all.

A Soldier has gone home to be with the Lord. Not only did I work with Sister Carol, but she knew my entire family.
She was a true Christian Missionary who would go out of her way to help those in need.
To her family: This is a great loss not only for you, but for the community. Praying for the family.

Miss Carol was a dear friend of my Mom , Emma Jean Harris . She was our upstairs neighbor at the Bridgeton Villas apartments .
Miss Carol and my mother both attended Cumberland County College and were single mothers , raising their children without letting go of their dreams. They were friends and they supported each other.
Our family moved to Pennsauken NJ in 1980 which (was the last time that I saw Miss Carol) until March 2019 when my mother passed. Miss Carol was there. She found me and gave me a supportive embrace and somehow made sure that I knew she was there for her friend .
Sincerely ,
Jeri”Lane” Treadwell
