Obituary of Thelma Dunkel

A lifetime Cedarville resident, Thelma was born in Bridgeton on April 9, 1931 to the late Leroy Shaw and Bertha Fithian Shaw. She was the wife of the late Everett S. Dunkel. She had worked as a former Police dispatcher in Lawrence Township for 9 years. Mrs. Dunkel was also a member for the Lawrence Township Historical Society. Surviving are two sons, Nick Dunkel of Millville and Jim Dunkel of Newport; two daughters, Betty Sutherland of Millville and Violet Calvert of Cedarville; a grand pup, Hunter; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Linda Neiswenter and Debbie Mazza; two brothers, Leroy Shaw, Jr. and Robert Shaw and a sister, Violet Creighton. Funeral Services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 160 Main Street, Cedarville, on Friday, February 22nd at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Cedarville. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 AM to 11 AM prior to the services.
