Obituary of John Vincent Baldasarre III

Please share a memory of John to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
John Vincent Baldasarre, III was born on March 14, 1972 in Vineland, New Jersey and passed away unexpectedly on October 31, 2023 at Vineland Inspira Medical Center after suffering from cardiac arrest. As a child, John served as an altar boy at St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church in Cedarville. In later years, he began pheasant and deer hunting with his father. He graduated from Bridgeton High School in 1990 and participated in sports, including football and wrestling. He later served as an Infantryman in the United States Army from 1992-1993 where he earned the Army Service Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal, Marksman Badge with Rifle Component Bar and Expert Badge with Grenade Component Bar. He worked for a former Verizon partner company as a supervisor beginning in 1995 and transitioned to Verizon as a Lineman in December 1997 up until the time of his passing. He was a member of the IBEW Local 827 Union, where he also served as shop steward for a couple of years. He loved his job and was very proud to work for Verizon. He was a true Lineman. John and his wife, Beth-Ann, married in their Vineland home on July 18, 2020 surrounded by family and close friends and had a brief time together. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his parents, John Baldasarre, Jr. and Ruthann (nee Frye) who will dearly miss their only son. John is also survived by his two children, Phoebe Baldasarre and Hannah Baldasarre; stepchildren, Kevin Page, Jr. (Jamilynn) and Kate Page; step-grandchildren, Jordan and Kaelyn Page; mother-in-law, Virginia Ruberts; and many other family members and friends. John was a very strong- and strong-willed man. He was very stubborn and he had a natural wry sense of humor, very often making others laugh. He loved joking with his children, and his mother, Ruthann, as well as his coworkers. He highly cherished his children, Phoebe and Hannah, and was there for them whenever they needed him. They knew without a doubt that they could always depend on their dad. John dearly loved his dogs, and even kept dog treats on his work truck to give to dogs that he met during his workdays. John was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys, “America’s Favorite Team,” as told to him by his grandfather. John was hardworking and proud of the work that he did both at his job and at his home. He was always working on new projects around the house. He was a protective, affectionate, and loving husband and father. He was grateful for his family and often put the needs of others before his own. John touched many lives and will be sadly missed by people who loved and knew him. In honor of John, a viewing will be held on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 from 9 AM to 11 AM at the Padgett Funeral Home, 1107 State Highway 77, Bridgeton, NJ 08302, followed by funeral services.
