Obituary of Elizabeth M. Gaskill

Elizabeth M. “Betty” Gaskill, age 93, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 10, 2023 at Cumberland Manor in Hopewell Township. Born in Bridgeton, she was the wife of the late Herbert B. Gaskill and the daughter of the late Walter Harvey and Thelma Bath Harvey and was a lifetime Bridgeton resident. Prior to her retirement, Betty had been employed with the Cumberland County Library for several years. She was a member of the New Life Outreach Church in Upper Deerfield Township and had been active with CB Radio groups in the past. She is survived by her sons, Herbert B. Gaskill, Jr. of Bridgeton and Jerry W. Gaskill of Red Bank along with several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter, Donna Girtain. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 15th at 12:00 Noon at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township. Friends will be received from 11:00 AM to 12:00 Noon prior to the services at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Greenwood Memorial Park in Millville.
