Obituary of Thomas D. Lee

Thomas Dwight Lee, 71, of Upper Deerfield Twp., passed away at his home on Friday, January 5, 2024. Tom was born to the late John Lee and Anna Gleissner Lee and had been an Upper Deerfield resident all of his life. Tom attended Immaculate Conception School and then graduated from Bridgeton High School class of 1970. Prior to retirement, he started working for the Trust Department as a certified financial planner for 20 years at the United Jersey Bank in Bridgeton and completed trust courses at the American Institute of Banking. He also served on the Upper Deerfield Township Zoning Board of Adjustment and the Executive Committee. Tom was known to most as, “The Yearbook Guy”. He had a vast collection of yearbooks, stamps, and coins. He was an AVID Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan and enjoyed traveling to Florida for vacation. He was a member of the Parish of the Holy Cross in Bridgeton and he also served in the NJ Army National Guard for eight years as a records specialist. Tom really enjoyed spending time with his family, especially their annual sibling tradition of gathering on Christmas. Tom is survived by; his siblings, Loretta (James) Dilks of Lower Alloways Creek, Linda (Vince) Solazzo of Vineland, and John (Peggy) Lee of Bridgeton; nieces and nephews, Colleen, Karen, Jimmy, Michael, Sue, Steven, Christine, John Jr., Erin, and Kevin; and a host of other great nieces and nephews and extended family members. He was preceded in death by; his parents John and Anna Lee; and nephew, Keith. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Friday, January 12, 2024 at 12 NOON at the Immaculate Conception Church, 312 N. Pearl Street, Bridgeton. Interment will take place following Mass at Laurel Lawn Cemetery, Upper Deerfield Twp.
