Catharine Lucille DiJoseph, 89, of Cedarville passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland.
Born in Bridgeton to the late Frank Dunkle and Catharine Shaw Dunkle, she was the wife of the late Anthony J. DiJoseph who lovingly referred to her as little doll. After spending her adolescent and teenage years in Bridgeton, she moved to Cedarville where she was a resident for the rest of her life.
She was a dedicated homemaker and also worked as a babysitter as well. She was remembered as an excellent cook at the Maranatha Academy where her specialty was spaghetti and meatballs. Catharine was an animal lover especially cats. She was a loving and kind person and passed those traits on to her children. In the springtime, she enjoyed tending to her garden. Catharine was also an avid consumer of the news on television and reading the newspaper.
She is survived by; three daughters, Suesanne Ringler of Millville, Marica Stites (Harry) of Port Elizabeth and Amy DiJoseph of Cedarville; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony DiJoseph.
Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations may be made in Catharine's memory to the South Jersey Regional Animal Shelter, 1244 N. Delsea Dr. Vineland, NJ 08360.
