Obituary of Nancy Jane Dice

Nancy J. Dice, 87, of Fairfield Twp., Elvis' #1 FAN, passed away on Thursday, February 8th 2024, at Preferred Care at Cumberland Manor in Hopewell Twp. Born in Little Washington, PA to the late Lloyd Fitzsimmons and Catherine Nobel Fitzsimmons, she had been the wife of the late Harry R. Dice. She grew up in Fairchance, PA and had been a Fairfield Twp. resident for over 30 years, prior to that had resided in Bridgeton. Prior to her retirement she had been an LPN for South Jersey Hospital Systems in Bridgeton, working in the maternity ward for over 40 years. She was known by many as Nurse Nancy when she resided on Penn St. In her free time, she enjoyed crocheting, puzzles, bus trips with family and friends, and also visiting with her friends at the Upper Deerfield Twp. Senior Center. Nancy also enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. One of her favorite past times were her trips to Wildwood in the summer with her family and riding the Tramcar. She is survived by; her children; Kathy Nicosia (Santo) of Upper Deerfield Twp., Patricia “Patty” Corbett (Glenn) of Hopewell Twp., Lisa Dice (Debbie Jones) of TN, Denise Dice of Vineland, Jamie Dice of Bridgeton, Karen Dice (Eric Robinson) of Fairfield Twp., and Harry Dice Jr. (Amy) of NY; 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; her brother, Robert Fitzsimmons (Annette) of Trenton; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family. She was preceded in death by; her parents, Lloyd and Catherine Fitzsimmons; her husband, Harry R. Dice; and her siblings, Richard Fitzsimmons, Donna Henigin, and Judy Fitzsimmons. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, February 14th at 11AM, at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. Friends will be received at the Funeral Home from 9 AM to 11 AM prior to the services. Interment will take place at Laurel Lawn Cemetery, 170 Old Deerfield Pike, Upper Deerfield Twp. following the services.
