Obituary of Patricia A. Schaper

Patricia A. Schaper, 71, of Rosenhayn, passed away on Friday, March 15, 2024. Born in Bridgeton to the late Emmit Stidham and Eva Lee Hayes Stidham, she was the wife of the late William E. Schaper. She had been a resident of Rosenhayn for over 30 years, prior to that she had lived in Bridgeton and resided in Tennessee for a few years. Patricia had retired from Bayada Hospice as a home health nurse. She had worked in nursing at the State School in Vineland and Big Oak Nursing Rehabilitation, formerly Rainbow Nursing Center in Pittsgrove Twp. In her free time she loved spending time with children, taking pictures of birds, nature, and caring for others. She especially loved animals and had a love for all walks of life. Patricia can be remembered for her dedication as a caregiver to her late husband, children, and others in need. She is survived by; her sons, Christopher Stidham (Laura) of Vineland and Matthew Schaper of Bridgeton; her siblings, Danny Stidham (Minnie) of Elmer, Rose Rempher (Dan) of Hopewell Twp. and Jimmy Stidham (Sharon) of Bridgeton; two grandchildren,Wyatt and Serena; her cats, Mace and Zoey; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family. She was preceded in death by; her parents, Emmit and Eva Lee Stidham; her husband, William E. Schaper; her daughter, Bethany Schaper; and her siblings, Robert Stidham, Larry Stidham, Brenda Mangini, Michael Stidham and Lisa Martin. Funeral Services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Monday, March 25th at 11AM. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10AM to 11AM prior to the service. Inurnment will take place privately at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Deerfield Twp. at a later date.
