Obituary of Charles Griffin Jr.

Charles Griffin, Jr., a.k.a Uncle Red, 77 of Bridgeton, departed this life on Thursday, March 21,2024. He was born September 18, 1947 to Alleaner Elizabeth Brown and Charles Griffin, Sr., in Belle Glade, Florida. Uncle Red was the 3rd child of six siblings. He was known as the local handy man in his neighborhood. Uncle Red enjoyed life. He loved being around his family, keeping busy and playing the lottery numbers. He leaves to cherish a host of nieces, nephews & friends. He was predeceased in death by both of his parents, and all five of his siblings; Johnny Dunklin, Viola Dunklin, Mary Henry, Moretha Harris and Levi Henry. Graveside services were held privately at Gouldtown Memorial Park, on Friday, March 29th, where he was laid to rest with his mother.
