Donna Marie Ward (nee Malick), of Greenwich, New Jersey died peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, August 7th, 2024. She was reunited in heaven with her forever 15-year-old son Adam. Donna was born June 8, 1954, in Philadelphia, PA to Daniel M. Malick and Dolores S. (Sullivan) Malick. Donna was the apple of her father’s eyes and loved being a Marine Corps brat. In her youth, Donna was a lover of horses and horseback riding and received many Blue Ribbons for her riding skills. She was a former Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at Inspira Hospital, Bridgeton. Donna loved to travel throughout the US and Europe, and was particularly fond of Medjugorje, in former Yugoslavia. She was also a two-time survivor of breast cancer. Donna is survived by; her sons, Jason V. and Gregory A. Ward; her treasured granddaughter, Maisei Jane; grandson Jarrod; and her brother, David J. Malick (Peggy). Donna is predeceased by her son Adam J. Ward, brother Daniel A. Malick and former husband John (Jack) F. Ward. A small graveside service with Pastor (Aunt) Carol Bretz will be held on Thursday, August 15th at 1pm at the Greenwich Baptist Church Cemetery, 928 Ye Greate St., Greenwich. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Boys Town www.boystown.org or The Lighthouse Christian Center www.phillylighthouse.org.
