Obituary of Joan Kathleen Bradley

Joan K. Bradley, 74, of Pittsgrove, NJ passed away peacefully in her beloved home, surrounded by her family on August 13th, 2024. Joan was born in Philadelphia, PA to Patrick & Georgine Bradley on December 30th, 1949. Joan was a true entrepreneur. She established, co-owned, and operated multiple businesses throughout her life. She excelled in sales and was a fierce and respected business woman. Joan was a lifelong avid reader, loved going to the shore, and loved walking her sweet dog Figgy at Parvin State Park. She was a world-traveler but especially loved traveling to Walt Disney World, and traveling to visit her son in Florida. Some of her favorite things to do were going out to lunch with her husband and going to the theater with her daughter. Joan always said, “fun is the best thing you can have” and she certainly embodied that sentiment. She is survived by; her loving husband, Bob Read; her daughter, Katy Petsas (Greg); her son, Kevin; and many loved cousins, extended family members, and friends. She is preceded in death by; her brothers, Michael and Patrick Bradley. An intimate, celebration of life will be held later this month.
