Obituary of Bonnie N. Hitchens

Bonnie N. Hitchens “Bon-Bon”, 41, of Bridgeton, NJ, departed her life on October 26, 2024. Bon-Bon was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and cousin. She attended Bridgeton Public School and had previously been employed as a cashier at ShopRite, a CNA at Genesis and the Cumberland Manor. She loved helping people and most of all treasured being with and spending time with her kids, family and friends. She was always putting a smile on everyone's face that she came in contact with. Bon-Bon was the life of any party or occasion. She loved to make people laugh and smile and loved to dance to any kind of music, even if she didn't have any rhythm or was off beat. Bon-Bon leaves to cherish many fond and precious memories for; her four daughters, I'Jahnae Thomas, Alajah Thomas, I'Zeria Thomas and Aniyah Thomas; her one and only baby boy, Isaiah Thomas; her mother, Brenda (Victor) Torres of Bridgeton; her sister, Shakeya Hitchens of Bridgeton; her brother James Hitchens of Vineland; her special friend, Kevin Wise of Millville; five nieces; two nephews; one great-nephew; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Bonnie was preceded in death by; her father, James Frazier III (OG Pops); her paternal grandparents, James Frazier Jr., and Louise Taylor; and her maternal grand parents, Adeline Hitchens Rawls and George Smith. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November, 11th at 11 AM at John Wesley United Methodist Church, 90 Rev. Matthew Brown Way, Bridgeton. Friends will be received at the church from 9 AM to 11 AM prior to the service. Interment will take place at Overlook Cemetery, 100 Overlook Dr., Bridgeton following the service.
