Harvey M. Spaulding, 74, of Fairfield Twp., passed away after a lengthy illness at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland on Tuesday, December 24, 2024. Harvey was born and raised in Cape May Courthouse, NJ to the late Sarah and Lofton Spauling. He was graduate of Middle Twp. School district in Cape May. Harvey worked at the Woodbine Developmental Center for 34 years until his retirement in 2002. Harvey was an avid builder, loved to play basketball, loved car races, and enjoyed watching his favorite team The Philadelphia Eagles. Most of all, he took pride in restoring his 1970 SS Chevelle that he had since he was 17 years old. His family and friends loved him and will miss him dearly. Harvey leaves to cherish his memories; loving and caring wife of years, Margaret Spaulding; daughter Iris Camper of Bridgeton; brother, James Davis (Rita) of Millville; loved ones, Tracy Broughton, Barry Broughton, Jr. (Yolanda), Crystal Durham (Rondell); two very special granddaughters; Tatiana Broughton of Salem and Tristyn Durham of Millville; and many extended family members and friends. Lovingly Submitted, The Family Funeral services will be held at the Shiloh Baptist Church, 2411 Memorial Ave., Port Norris, NJ 08349 on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at 12 NOON. Friends will be received at the church from 10 AM to 12 NOON prior to the service. Interment will take place at Haleyville United Methodist Cemetery, Steep Run Rd., Commercial Twp. following the service.
