Obituary of Leroy Ford

Leroy Ford, 78, of Cedarville, died Friday, May 31, 2013 at South Jersey Extended Care in Bridgeton following a lengthy illness. Born in Philadelphia, PA on December 19, 1934 to the late Charles and Elizia Ford, he was the husband of Fannie Burns Ford. He had been a resident of Cedarville for most of his life. Prior to his retirement Mr. Ford had been employed by Consalos Produce Company in Vineland. He was a member of the Church of Restoration Church of God in Christ in Port Norris. Besides his wife he is survived by two sons, Leroy Ford, Jr. of Millville and John Lee Burns, III of Carneys Point; a daughter, Orlanba D. Ford of Philadelphia; his mother-in-law, Mary Burns of Cedarville, eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters. Funeral services will be held at the Church of Restoration Church of God in Christ, 1210 Main Street, Port Norris on Friday, June 7th at 11AM. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Cedarville. Friends will be received at the church from 10 to 11 AM prior to the services.
