Obituary of Alberta Marlene Emonds

Alberta Marlene Emonds, 74, of Pittsgrove, passed away on Thursday, May 30th, 2013 at the Inspira Healthcare Hospice Care Inpatient Unit in Bridgeton following over a year of illness. Born in Stewartville, Minnesota on June 6, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Albert Denny and Grace Bushman Denny. She had been a Pittsgrove resident for most of her life after moving there from Minnesota. Prior to her retirement, Marlene had been employed as the assistant to the principal at Olivet Elementary School in Pittsgrove. She had also been a bus driver for Pittsgrove Township Schools. She loved horseback riding and spending time with her loving best friend, Donna. She is survived by two sons, Mark Emonds and his wife Barbara of Midland, Michigan and Joey Emonds and his wife Tiffany of Vineland; a daughter, Linda Camirand and her husband Gilbert of Sterling, CT and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, Wayne Denny. Memorial Services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp., on Saturday, June 8th at 1:30. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM prior to the services.
