Milton John "Cookie" Cook, age 77, of Greenwich died Saturday, June 22, 2013 at his home. A lifetime Greenwich resident, he was born in Greenwich on September 13, 1935 to the late Morris Cook and Sarah Sheppard Cook and was the husband of Anne DeWilde Cook. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Cook had been employed as an electrician with the Clement Pappas Co. in Upper Deerfield Twp. for 29 years. He had also previously been employed with Economy Electric and Bohham Electric. He was an avid gardener and a member of Greenwich Presbyterian Church. In addition to his loving wife Anne, he is survived by his children, Nancy Estler of W.VA, Harriet Smith of Bridgeton and Robert Cook of Greenwich, Russell Pennington, Jr. of FL, Kenneth Pennington of CO, Jessica Pennington of Greenwich and Heather Arenas of CO; a sister, Martha Bartone of NY and several grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, John Paul Cook, a sister, Mabel Hiles and three brothers, Dan, Frank and Paul Cook. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 27th at 3 PM at Greenwich Presbyterian Church, 630 Ye Greate St., Greenwich. Friends will be received from 12 Noon to 3 PM prior to the services at the church. Interment will be made at Greenwich Presbyterian Cemetery.
