Obituary of Bebe Grooms

Bebe Grooms, 84, of Robbins, NC died Sunday, August 11, 2013 at her home under the care of Hospice following 11 years of declining health. Born on August 13, 1928 to the late Drew Hall and Annie Green Hall, she was the wife of the late Garland Grooms. She had lived at her present address for the past 17 years and prior to that had resided in Millville and Glassboro. Mrs. Grooms had previously worked at April Bros. Orchards in Millville for many years and had also worked at the NJ Fireworks Company in Vineland. She is survived by a son, Tommy Grooms of Robbins, NC; two daughters, Ella Brown of Pittsgrove and Dolores Franklin and her husband Dennis of Millville; 12 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, John Grooms; two brothers, George and Ken Hall and three sisters, Mary Shelton, Leona Williams and Rebecca Ellen McGaha. Funeral Services will be held at Centerton Freewill Baptist Church, Dealtown Rd., Pittsgrove Twp. on Monday August, 19th at 11 AM. Interment will take place in the church cemetery. A visitation will be held on Sunday evening, August 18th from 6 PM to 8 PM at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp.
