Obituary of Willie Mae Harris

Willie Mae Harris, 84, of Vineland, died Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at her home following a brief illness. Born in Ft. Lauderdale, FL to the late Lucious Mack and Mattie Phillips Mack, she was the wife of the late William E. Harris, Sr. She had lived in Vineland for the past 20 years and prior to that had resided in Bridgeton. Before her retirement, Willie Mae had worked at the NJ Veterans Memorial Home in Vineland for over 25 years. She was a member of the Mt. Pisgah Methodist Church in Vineland. Surviving are two sons, Lonnie Harris of Aberdene, MD and Phillip Harris, Sr. of Bridgeton; three daughters, Kim Milbourne of West Chester, PA, Emma Kaye McCargo of Vineland, and Evelyn Crump of Dover, DE and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by five children, William E. Harris, Jr., Stanley S. Harris, Sr., Charles J. Harris, Victor Harris and Gary D. Harris and four brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway # 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Friday, September 6th at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Memorial Park in Hopewell Twp. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 AM to 11 AM prior to the services.
