Obituary of Maurice E. Johnson

Maurice E. Johnson, Sr., 72, of Bridgeton died Thursday, December 12, 2013 at Inspira Regional Medical Center in Vineland. The son of the late Arthur and Laura Johnson, he was born in Chester, PA on October 26, 1941 and had been a Bridgeton area resident most of his life. A United States Army Veteran, he had previously been employed with the Manpower Training Organization in Bridgeton and the Venice Maid Foods Co. in Vineland. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Johnson; six sons, Maurice E. Johnson, Jr. (Melanie) of Bridgeton, Mahlon Johnson, Sr. (Teresa) of Millville, Vincent Johnson, Sr. of Wildwood, Marcelle White, Sr. of Millville, and Marvin Wiggins and Kevin Wiggins both of CT; two daughters, Belinda McIver (Anthony) of Bridgeton and Charol Dennis of Millville; a stepson, Jarrod White of Millville; a sister, Zelda Byrd (Ronnie) of Vineland and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
