Obituary of George Lewis

Born in August 24, 1977 to the George Anthony Parker and Loretta Lewis Lee, he was the long time companion of Scarlett Gross of Bridgeton. He had been a Bridgeton area resident most of his life. George had worked previously at Leones Industries in Millville. He had been a car and motorcycle enthusiast, a legacy that his sons are following. George was a fan of music in general and was known as a man who loved his family dearly. He is survived by; his mother, Loretta L. Lee of Millville; his father, George Anthony Parker of Bridgeton, his longtime companion, Scarlet Gross of Bridgeton ; eight children, Malik Lewis, Malikai Lewis, Maurice Lewis, Renee Still, Shamir Frazier, Shaheer Frazier, Alaijah Roldan, and Michael Lewis; his step-children, Eternity Gross and Elegance Gross; four sisters, Equinda Lewis of Bridgeport, CT, Tameka Lewis of Bridgeton, Shamyra Mosley of Bridgeton and Toni Parker of NJ; four brothers, Marvin Lewis of Millville, Cleve Lewis of Bridgeport, CT, David Lewis of Bridgeport, CT and Anthony Parker of NJ; a special aunt, Sandra Lewis of Bridgeton; a special cousin, Latisha Lewis-Roberts of Egg Harbor Township; his godparents; Carolyn and Curtis Joynes of Bridgeton and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members. He was preceded in death by; his maternal grandmothers; Louise Lewis and Patsy Carter and his paternal grandmother, Emma Parker. Funeral services will be held at St. Phillips Missionary Baptist Church, 275 Richardson Ave, Bridgeton on Saturday, March 1st at 1 PM. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Memorial Park in Hopewell Twp. Friends will be received at the church from 12 Noon to 1 PM prior to the services.
