Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late George W. Trindle, Sr. and Marion Hefner Trindle, he was the husband of Sarah J. Moore Trindle. He had been a resident of Fortescue since 2006. Prior to that, he had been a resident of Philadelphia, PA. He and his wife spent their leisure time in Fortescue before moving there.
Before his retirement in 1986, George had worked as a Philadelphia Police officer. He had retired from the Internal Affairs Department but had also served as a patrolman for many years. George had also served his country as a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps during peace time. He had been a member of the Free and Accepted Masons. In his free time, George enjoyed fishing, gardening and wood working. He also loved to make his own tomato sauce.
Besides his wife, Sarah J. Trindle of Fortescue, he is survived by; four children, George Trindle, III and his wife Marge of Philadelphia, PA, William Trindle of Philadelphia, PA, Barbara Yost and her husband Frank of Franklinville and Lori Cervara and her husband Martin of Bucks County, PA; 13 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by; a sister, Marion Reho; a brother, Henry Trindle and a daughter-in-law, Wendee Trindle.
