Belford Blackman, Jr. 80, of Bridgeton died Saturday, March 15, 2014 at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland.
Born in Bridgeton on October 14, 1933 he was the son of the late Belford and Gertrude Blackman.
Mr. Blackman had resided in Bridgeton for the past ten years. He had resided in France, Spain and Mexico. A Professor of Language and Linguistics, he had taught at Cumberland County College for a period while living here.
Services were private at the convenience of the family.
