Obituary of Emma Wright

Emma Wright, 93, of Vineland died on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at Inspira Medical Center-Vineland. Born in Climax, GA to the late Tom Williams and Bertha Andrews Williams, she was the wife of the late Thomas Wright. Emma had lived at her present address in Vineland for the past 3 years and prior to that she had resided in Bridgeton. Before her retirement, she had been employed by Owens-Illinois Glass Co. for 34 years. She was a member of the United Fellowship Church in Vineland. Surviving are four children, Lawrence "Larry" Wright of Vineland, Rufus Wright, Sr. of Bridgeton, Catherine Lowery of Vineland and Valerie Brissett of Deerfield Twp.; 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four children, Theodore Wright, Clifford Wright, Thomas Wright, Jr. and Bernard Wright and two sisters, Augusta Hall and Virgelean Scippio. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 31st at 12 Noon at Crusaders for Christ Church, 33 Reeves Road, Bridgeton. Friends will be received from 10 AM to 12 Noon at the church. Burial will take place at Cedar Hill Memorial Park in Hopewell Twp. Arrangements are under the direction of the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, Upper Deerfield Twp.
