Obituary of David S. Cole

David S. Cole, 77, of Fairfield Twp. died on Friday, March 28, 2014 at the Inspira Hospice Inpatient Center in Bridgeton. Born in Fairfield Township, he was the son of the late George L. Cole and Thelma Sheppard Cole. He had been a Fairfield Twp. resident most of his life except for a brief period of residence in Texas. David served his country in the United States Army as a career officer and did three tours of duty in Vietnam. He is survived by two children, Susan L. Smith of Quinton and David F. Cole of Commercial Twp.; two sisters, Charlotte Myers of Pittsgrove and Mary Jane Hamidy of Conway, S.C.; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, Upper Deerfield Twp.
