Obituary of Robert L. Valentine

Robert L. Valentine, 94, of Bridgeton died on August 9, 2014 at the Cumberland Manor in Hopewell Twp. Born in Bridgeton, and a lifetime Bridgeton resident, he was the husband of the late Ethel Williams Valentine. Prior to his retirement Mr. Valentine had been employed by Smith and Richards Lumber Co. in Bridgeton for 30 years. He was an active member of the Centerton Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses for many years. He is survived by his son, Perry W. Valentine of Bridgeton his daughter, Beverly Pierce of Fairfield Twp. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a son, Robert L. Valentine. Jr. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, August 16th at the Centerton Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 26 Husted Station Rd., at 1 PM. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, Upper Deerfield Twp. Burial was private at Overlook Cemetery in Bridgeton.
