Obituary of RoseMarie Coombs

RoseMarie Coombs, 78, of Fairfield Twp. died on Saturday morning, September 27, 2014 at Inspira Medical Center-Vineland after suffering a stroke at her home. Born in Bridgeton to the late Mary Mandolera, she was the wife of the late Clarence “Pete” Coombs. She had lived in Fairfield Twp for the past 46 years and prior to that had resided in Bridgeton. Before her retirement, RoseMarie had been a school bus driver for over 30 years with the Sheppard Bus Service for the Bridgeton Public Schools. She had attended First Wesleyan Church in Upper Deerfield Twp. Surviving are a daughter, Maryanne Miller of Newport; three grandchildren, Michael Coombs, Jr. and his wife Sherri of Lawrence Twp., Raymond Coombs of Fairfield Twp. and Seth Miller of Newport; three great-grandchildren, Shanna Coombs, Amanda Nichols and Alexi Payne and a daughter-in-law, Donna M. Coombs of Fairfield Twp. She was preceded in death by two sons; Michael Coombs, Sr. and Wayne Coombs. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp on Friday, October 3rd at 10 AM. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Lawrence Twp. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday evening, October 2nd from 6 PM to 8 PM.
