Obituary of Edna W. Richardson

God has received an Angel. Edna W. Richardson, 80, born in Bridgeton and raised in Greenwich is no longer suffering and is now holding hands with her late husband Warren in heaven. The daughter of the late William G. Wetherill and Florence Ayars Wetherill, she passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2014 at Cumberland Manor where she had resided for the past five years. Edna retired from the Cumberland County Surrogates Office after 23 years of service and was regarded as such a Lady. She had also assisted in the operation of Krafts & Kalico Korner at Dutch Neck Village for seven years. She had compassion for everyone. Edna had a special group of friends for over 50 years who loved her, supported her and her family and who were there for her at the very end. She is survived by her son, Kevin Richardson of Las Vegas, NV; granddaughter and her husband, Lana and Brad Melton, great-granddaughter, Abbey Ryan Melton, granddaughter, Taylor Richardson and daughter and son in law, Kimberly and Wayne Kauffmann of Upper Deerfield Twp. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway # 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Saturday, October 25th at 2:30 PM. Friends will be received from 1:30 to 2:30 PM prior to the services. Interment will take place at Fernwood Memorial Park in Hopewell Twp.
