Obituary of Francis Stuart Morehead

Francis Stuart Morehead, 67, of Deerfield Twp. died unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 in Newport, TN. Born in Greenwich, he was the son of the late Frederick Morehead and Retha Hymer Morehead. He had lived in Deerfield Twp. for the past 36 years and prior to that he had resided in Bridgeton. Francis retired from Owens Illinois Glass Co. in Bridgeton and he had also worked in construction. He had attended the First Baptist Church in Bridgeton. Besides his wife, Trula Holt Morehead, he is survived by two daughters, Sheila Shults of Newport, TN and Stephanie Ann Erickson of Knoxville, TN; three brothers, George Watson, Isaac Watson and Fred Morehead; three sisters, Elizabeth Price, Retha McGaham and Thelma Rossi; three grandchildren, Ethan Shults, Kyle Shults and Rachael Shultz and many special friends and relatives. He was preceded in death by four siblings, Eleanor McGaham, Shirley Englehardt, Hazel McGaham and Gladys, who died at birth. Graveside services will be held at Cohansey Baptist Cemetery, 714 Roadstown Rd., Hopewell Twp. on Saturday, December 6th at 10:30 AM. Friends will be received at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM prior to the graveside service.
