Obituary of Lois L. Vineyard

Lois L. Vineyard, 88, of Bridgeton died on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at Eagleview Center in Pittsgrove Twp. under the care of Hospice. Born in Fair Hope, PA, she was the wife of the late Frederick A. Vineyard, Jr. who passed on January 13th of this year. She had lived in Bridgeton since 1947 and before that had resided in PA. Lois had been previously employed by the City of Bridgeton Police Department as a crossing guard and had also worked for Owens-Illinois Glass Co. in Bridgeton. She is survived by her daughter, Linda D. Shaw and her husband Bob of Hopewell Twp.; her son, Frederick Vineyard and his wife Sandra of Egg Harbor Twp.; a sister, Lilas Turcasco of PA; seven grandchildren, Tommy Wood (Shannon), Jennifer Shaw (Shawn Seay), Meredith Schmidt (Michael), Stephen Vineyard, Tom Cure (Gina), Jackie Cure and John Cure; five great-granddaughters, Ryleigh Jo Wood, Ashton Nuss (Kevin), Hannah, Christina and Angela Cure; two great grandsons, Thomas and John Cure, Jr.; one great-great grandson, Ryan Nuss, son–in-law, Elliot Pettit of Hopewell Twp. and her sister-in-law, Rose Rohland. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Josephine “Jody” Pettit; a sister, Alma Pollock; a brother, Edward Rohland and a sister-in-law, Josephine Swift. Graveside funeral services will be held at Cumberland County Veterans Cemetery, Trench Rd., Hopewell Twp. on Thursday, February 5th at 1 PM. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the PADGETT FUENRAL HOME, Upper Deerfield Twp.
