Obituary of Alonzo Bishop

Alonzo Bishop, III of Bridgeton died on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at Inspira Medical Center-Vineland. Born in Bridgeton to the late Alonzo Bishop, Jr. and Martha Hall Bishop, he was the husband of Suzanne Godfrey Bishop. He was a lifetime Bridgeton resident and had been employed by Big John’s Pizza in Bridgeton. Surviving are his wife, Suzanne Bishop of Bridgeton; eight children, Suzanne Bishop of Vineland, Diane Bishop of Bridgeton, Leeann Bishop of Bridgeton, Joanne Bishop of Bridgeton, Alonzo Bishop, IV of Bridgeton, Lorenzo Bishop of Bridgeton, Roseann Bishop of Bridgeton and Roxanne Bishop of Bridgeton; a brother, David Bishop of Bridgeton; a sister, Kathy Bishop of Atlantic City and 15 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Steven Bishop and a sister Melissa Barr. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Friday, February 6th at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Fernwood Memorial Park, in Hopewell Twp. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 AM to 11 AM.
